This exercise is used to stretch the hip flexors and muscles of front leg
How to perform this exercise:
- Start on the floor in a kneeling position
- Place your left or right leg out in front of you with the knee bent at a 90 degree angle
- Be sure to have the opposite leg positioned behind you flat on the floor
- At this time perform a pelvic tilt while lunging forward
- Hold for 30-45 seconds
- Switch sides and repeat
