This exercise is used to stretch the hip flexors and muscles of front leg

How to perform this exercise:

  • Start on the floor in a kneeling position
  • Place your left or right leg out in front of you with the knee bent at a 90 degree angle
  • Be sure to have the opposite leg positioned behind you flat on the floor
  • At this time perform a pelvic tilt while lunging forward
  • Hold for 30-45 seconds
  • Switch sides and repeat
