Back Extension

The use of this exercise is to strengthen back extensor muscles. Incorporates the use of a stability ball.

Back Extension

How to perform this exercise:

  • Lay with your stomach on a stability ball. Place your hands behind your head
  • Try and tighten your abdominal muscles and engage your low back muscles by contracting your glutes
      • You should be lifting your shoulders and chest off the ball
  • Repeat 10-15 times
